Roasted Broccoli & Sweet Potatoes

I love sweet potatoes and my favorite veggie is broccoli, so why not make them together. The sweet potatoes were so tender and the broccoli was nice and crispy. The flavor was delicious. This side dish is quiet tasty; I can’t wait to have this again.

Creamy Garlic Mashed Cauliflower

I never eat cauliflower, but I thought I would give it a try. I’ve heard several times that mashed cauliflower taste close to masked potatoes, so I thought I would see for myself! I chose this recipe because one I love garlic and two I love cream cheese. And I ended up loving this recipe. […]

Parmesan Crusted Asparagus

I always forget that I like asparagus. The flavor on its own is good, but adding all these seasonings make the asparagus so much better. The panko bread crumbs add an extra crunch to the crunch of the asparagus. I like the idea of the spicy salt this recipe calls for, it adds a little kick to […]

Tuna Pasta Salad

I am a fan of any sort of pasta, but I like this one because it’s not your typical Italian pasta. This pasta salad is a great side dish or even an entree if ya feel like it. I had every bit of ingredients in the pantry & fridge, but unfortunately no peas – […]

Happy Fourth of July! {well, almost} Fourth of July consists of cooking out, swimming, and watching fire works. If you’re needing to whip up a quick dish to bring to the cookout, this one is perfect. It is quick, simple, and yummy! Altogether it should only take you 5 minutes. Now, this fruit salad […]

Sweet Corn Bread

My mom wanted Taylor to make his family’s chili, so I knew I needed to make corn bread to go along. I came across this yummy recipe and glad I did. We tried it with butter and some with honey; the corn bread is already has a bit of sweetness, but the honey made it […]

Baked Garlic Parmesan Zucchini Chips

Eating vegetables (willingly) has been a struggle for me. It is not that I hate vegetables, I don’t, they are yummy. However, I need a lot of flavor to my food. Except for broccoli, I love broccoli; I can eat it plain, covered in cheese, with seasoning salt, raw smothered in ranch. Anyway, back to […]

Zucchini Relish

Here something that my fridge never goes without, zucchini relish. I put this on several different things: hot dogs, burgers, tuna salad sandwiches, etc. This makes a huge batch of relish, so if you are planning on making this be prepared to spread the love. A heads up, this is a sweet relish. This recipe takes two days […]

Cheesy Pesto Pull Apart Bread

I have mainly been making meals, so I figured I’d make something different. I love cheese and I love bread and I love pesto. Basically, I love this dish. Every week me and my roommates Miranda and Tater will make a meal. This week was Miranda’s; she made a delicious cheesy chicken spaghetti. I’ve been wanting to […]

Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Bundles

One night at the Hearne’s [my boyfriend’s family] we made a wonderful meal that included these bundles, onion dijon catfish, and loaded potato slices. These bundles were really good, however, the bacon needed to be crispier. So I would highly recommend using a slotted broiler pan. Check out what accompanied these delicious bundles: Onion Dijon […]
